Twenty years ago I got discharged from the U.S. Army in one of the most bizarre, convoluted situations you will ever find anywhere. I had just turned in a dozen senior enlisted for using hard drugs on the job; they gave me the Army Commendation Medal, but then the Pentagon wanted to keep word from getting out - of rampant drug abuse at White Sands Missile Range, the highest security military installation in the whole world; site of the "Star Wars" missile defense system; and only 100 miles from Roswell, where the alleged UFO crashed in 1949.. As I fought the wrongful discharge over the years, it became clear that something very very secret, and sinister, was going on at White Sands . . . Interestingly, what the various bureaucracties did and said depicts a very clear picture of just what it is they are hiding; how, and why.

The book is an autobiography, and the theme is a decorated Viet Nam veteran gets so upset over a wrongful discharge that he embarks on a righteous crusade against the U.S. Congress over ratification of the Global Warming Treaty. There are lots of insights into the politics of energy conservation plus some romance, drama, and spirituality worked into the mix.
