The Pelican's Briefs

This website is named after the John Grisham bestseller The Pelican's Brief (and a movie starring Tom Cruise), in which the government in Washington DC is brought down by a scandal in the Louisiana gulf coast oil industry... this website fleshes out dozens of scandals of that magnitude.

The federal government is financially strapped right now, paying for the war in Iraq, higher energy prices, and repairing the $14 trillion national debt. This website outlines a comprehensive reform of the government at many levels, to operate more effectively and efficiently. The cornerstone of the program is energy conservation ~ which will help the environment and be a boon to the high tech industry, and all businesses in general. The material is organized like my 2004 campaign as an independent for President of the United States, like agenda items for the economy, space, the military, terrorism, the environment, and so forth. This website has excerpts from a paperback I've written; the book has about twice as much material.
