The Ides of Man
I recommend you read the pages on this site in sequence so you don't take things out of context and misinterpret the presentation. A summary of the investigation follows:
(1) There is a place called the Osireion in Abydos, an ancient burial grounds in Egypt, that when first excavated in the early 1900's was said to be over 10,000 years old by both archaeologists at the digs. I allege it was actually an engineered structure, designed as the source for an aqueduct designed to tap the Nile River aquifer to deliver fresh water to a civilization inland.
(2) From 10,000 to 3,000 BC Egypt was a very wet place, tropical in climate. When the rains diminished and the surface water dried up, this civilization would need to get fresh water. The design of the Osireion would suit this need: it's 50 feet below ground, of extremely massive construction (for water pressure), and has no floor - the central area goes down at least twelve feet deep, and still has no floor. This is exactly how the Romans built their aqueducts 3000 years later, if on a much smaller scale.
(3) The Book of Job says that Job's civilization - which I believe built this Osireion - died out instantly. This implies their water source was cut off, instantly. Job says that this was the result of a pact between "God and Satan," and I believe this means a pact between the original Hebrews - and the even more ancient People of Job.
(4) A map is below showing the location of the Osireion relative to a modern day oasis known as "The Great Oasis" during the Roman era. This would have been the center of the older Sahara civilization when the area was tropical.
(5) The Sphinx is supposed by most archaeologists to be about the same age as the Osireion. It has the same erosion patterns, and other tell tale signs. The sequence of pages here suggests that the Sphinx was built right after the Osireion was destroyed, as told in the Book of Job, and that the Sphinx was constructed by the Etruscans before they were driven from Egypt, to tell posterity about their ancient civilization.
