This is the First X File of all time. I trace the mythical best Leviathan from the Old Testament Book of Job in 10,000 BC to the U.S. Army White Sands Missile Range (100 miles from Roswell, New Mexico) in 1984. It all started at a place called the Osireion at Abydois, a 10,000 year old structure that was ancient when the Egyptians unearthed it around the time of the Exodus in the Bible.
This website takes everything in the Old Testament as gospel truth, and weaves a magical story - following Leviathan from the Osireion, to the Jew's Holy Temple in Jerusalem, and beyond. This creature Leviathan really gets around . . . it is intimately associated with the Ark of the Covenant, the inexplicable forays of Julius Caesar deep into Germany Across the Rubicon and then over to the British Isles; the Exodus of Hebrews from Egypt and their subsequent association with the Golden Calf, and many other Ancient traditions . . .
The website itself is a series of a dozen formal technial reports, with lots of references and (mostly) very authoritative. The whole project is done with just one assumption: the Bible is true and factual, and not allegorical or symbolic. This nominal assumption leads to some pretty awesome notions...
