I have five finshed screenplays, all of which placed in the semi-finals of major international screenplay contests recently. They all began as the novels (or events) described elsewhere on this website.

I. The Cold War

Two Texas grad students, an engineer and a reporter, foil a government conspiracy to destroy the ozone layer. (thriller/mystery/romance)

II. Deo Vindice

A disabled veteran (and ex-military Chaplain) and a lady friend (of ill repute) attempt to remodel a house in Vicksburg haunted by a Confederate general who was murdered (by a jealous husband after the general seduced his wife) after repelling the first Yankee assault on the city on Christmas Eve, 1862. (horror/mystery/romance)

III. Hurricane Flag

The President gets stranded during a hurricane in the home of a psychotic Viet Nam vet in a small southern town. (dark political satire/comedy)

IV. Kharga Doom

An eclectic engineer and his Arab lady friend unravel a neo-Nazi plot to eviscerate an ancient Egyptian tomb, key to multiple Old Testament myths - and curses. (adventure/action)

V. Crashdown

The true story of my getting expelled from UT, somewhat dramatized to satisfy the adrenalin freaks in Hollywood. (drama/romance)
